Hi Mark,

Err the 93ft/min was on 4th feb  and the 89ft/min was yesterday .As I say not a major problem but just wondered why they hadn't registered in the Stats..

Cheers

Slightly off topic but it is about landing rates.  I find that if I try to 'grease' a landing in the Airbus that it tends to eat up runway and speed doesn't bleed off too quickly.  A firm landing rate, say 200-300fpm seems to work better for me.  This is with the FSL Bus though - it may be different with the Aerosoft Bus.

Hi Matt, Mark will explain better than me,however, a very low landing rate is classed as floating the aircraft ,therefore its classed as a bad landing.

We have a minimum landing rate set at I believe -75fpm, I can t remember without looking at the code but anything softer than that is classed as greasing it, so unsafe.

Many Thanks,

Mark.

Yep, that's correct, because they are considered too low
