For those using the TM TCA Sidestick.  If you find that the 'twist' axis on the sidestick is 'twitchy' and doesn't return smoothly and quickly to the neutral postion then it is worth carrying out this modification https://youtu.be/adAyDgWEqiY  Whether you use the axis as a tiller or a rudder it will make a considerable difference to your aircraft control.

Thanks Rob, I have this problem and I use this as a tiller. I will try the mod.

It worked, thank you Rob for sharing. i thought that my unit was faulty and thus the strange behavior but this resolved it!.  This is great. For everyone trying this, just be careful with the cables when putting it together as a I almost cut through mine.

Hi Miguel

I'm pleased it worked for you.  I must admit that my heart missed a couple of beats when everything fell out when I parted the joystick!  smiley  Luckily it all went back together OK and is vastly improved.  But as Miguel says, be careful not to trap any wires as you re-join the two halves of the joystick.

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could please explain the steps involved for this as the video link does not work for me unfortunately.

Cheers
