Hi All

is there a better way to create flight plan.  If you generate from pilot brief it creates plan in simbrief but you have to then change the airframe in simbrief  you then have to regenerate it.  Then it changes amount of passengers, cargo etc.  Does this matter or am I overlooking something here.

Hi Ian

I just book my bid from the schedules noting the flight number.  Then I open Simbrief and add the flight number and populate the other red boxes.  I check that I'm happy with the suggested departure time or change if Im not.  I leave Simbrief to give me random loads etc.  I generate the flight then go into Fenix and import it into the EFB and also into Navigraph.  I don't do anything from the schedules page except book the bid.  Also, in case you didn't realise yet, you don't need to fly the times given on the schedules.  Blue Sky doesn't cross reference the time in your sim to the time on the schedules.  So if, say there's a flight you fancy, but it's always an evening departure and you'd like to admire the scenery then just select any departure time in Simbrief and match that time inside MSFS.  Then all of your aircraft systems match the times in your OFP.

Hi Rob

Thank you what about passengers cand cargo, or dont worry about it and just as is in simbrief and bluesky.  Also I change flight number for ProATC/SR to real flight number.  Ie the flight im donna do in a few is EZY8480 EGKK to LSGG and real flight is U28480/EZY93XM

I alter the passenger number in Blue Sky to match the number shown in the EFB.  That's it.

I alter the passenger number in Blue Sky to match the number shown in the EFB.  That's it.

Sorry to bug you but I have this on simbrief and dont know what to put into Bluesky.  FL STEPS EGCC/0330/KOMIB/0350/TOMBI/0370.

The FL370 is going to take place near Nicosia. If I put the wrong one in then my flight might get rejected. If I put in 370 then thats about 2 hours away.

Hi Ian

I really don't think that Blue Sky will get hung up ove this whatever you do.  In real world or on VATSIM you can request a flight level in your flight plan but you might never get it depending on traffic.  I seem to remember that you use PRO ATC X so I'm not sure how this handles step climbs.  I'd put FL370 in Blue Sky as you will eventually get there.  As you're already flying I guess you've risked a plan of action.  Good luck!
