Hi, it's been far too long since I have been flying. I have a few questions if you guys would be able to advise me?

What Sim would you recommend and why?

Whats the best Airbus Addon?

Do you need a weather engine like in the old days wink

Please let me know your setups and thoughts as I'm keen to get back to the skies.

Thanks,

Mark.

Many Thanks,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

I use a mixture between XP11, XP12 and MSFS.

In terms of setups, I have mine in my signature. I feel personally XP replicates RW physics better and use ToLiss A319/A321 and FFA320. I love MSFS for the graphics and use Fenix A320

Mark

To get back into flying I'd personally recommend MSFS mainly because of the insane graphics.  You see the world in all its beauty.  Check out the minimum specs for MSFS and aim to have a PC which is at least a bit better and, if possible,  a lot better.  Without spending any money on an A320 download the freeware FBW A320 Neo.  It's superb and being developed on a weekly basis.  It's just been updated with a brand new flight deck which is gorgeous.  Apart from some addon airports just for added realism that's all you really need mate.  No weather engine required these days either.

Happy Christmas!

Rob

I'm looking at this pc. It's one of the better specs for the money. If this ok do you think?
Case: GameMax Infinity, Black, 9 x ARGB Fans, Midi Cube Style ATX, Tempered Glass Side Panel Window PSU: 850W, Silent, 80+

CPU: Intel Core i9 13900K, 5.1GHz (Normal 3.2GHz*), 16 Core, 24 Threads, 30MB

Memory: 32GB DDR5

SSD: 1TB M.2 NVME SSD

Cooling: 360mm AIO Liquid Cooling Motherboard: Intel Z790 chipset DDR5

Graphics: 12GB Geforce RTX 4070 GDDR6X (HDMI/D.Port)

ODD: None

USB Ports: USB2/3/3.1

Audio: 8 Channel HD Audio

Networking: Gigabit Lan & Dual Band WiFi adapter

I have other ssds I can add so I'm not too bothered about the storage.

Many Thanks,

Mark.

Hi Mark

Great specs  I've got the RTX 4060 and with most of my settings set at high or ultra I always get around 35fps
